Simon Carrington is one of the world's leading choral conductors and co-founder of the internationally acclaimed British vocal ensemble, The Kings singers. Until 2009 he was Professor of Choral Conducting at Yale University and conductor of the Yale Schola Cantorum. He now has a busy schedule conducting choral works throughout the world as well as directing his own choir, The Simon Carrington Chamber Singers.
In this masterclass he works with four young conductors on choruses from Handel's 'Mesiah' with a particular emphasis on the modern lightweight approach to the work.
